Processes of memory
How do you imagine our memory? I see it as my own library with books, movies and music. We can remember: what we see in a form of pictures and words, what we hear in the form of simple and complex sounds, and also what we feel in the senses of touch, taste and smell, what we do in the form of skills like riding bicycle, chopping an onion. Our library seems to be something static but it is only an apparent sensation. We are permanently adding there new books, dvds, records of music. We are also choosing from there something to read or to leasten to. We sometimes need to take a few books to prepare various articles or essays. Similarly our memory is always in the process. There are three kinds of this process: receiving, holding and recalling.
